About the Crew & Guides

Captain C. Scott Hampton

Captain C. Scott Hampton is originally from Washington, North Carolina and now lives in Staten Island, New York.  Guess it was growing up in North Carolina and it's outer banks that he learned the joy, discipline, and patience that boating and fishing gave.  He attended East Carolina University where he received a B.S. in Biology concentrating in cellular and molecular aspects.  He later moved to the northeast after college to attend graduate school at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.  He is now employed in New York, where he is a cardiac perfusionist with the Heart Team of SIUH.  His true passion has always been the water and he continues to boat and fish the waters from Montauk, New York down to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.    Captain C. Scott Hampton holds a 100-ton United States Coast Guard Captain's license.  email:  scott@noreastercharters.com

Mate A. Keith Hampton

Alan Keith Hampton began freshwater fishing in the Piedmont of North Carolina.  By his uncle's side, he caught his first large mouth bass at the age of 6.  From that point on, he was hooked.  He continued to fish the ponds, lakes, and western streams that occupy some of North Carolina's most beautiful environment.  He then turned his attention to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, concentrating on Portsmouth Island.  He attended East Carolina University and applied his studies to Psychology, but not his passion.  His passion lied with his side project studies with the Biology Department of the estuaries and marine life of the Neuse and Pamlico Rivers.  He has continued to fish the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  To this day his prize catch is a 42" Bullnose Dolphin on a Mitchell 300 outfitted with 12 lb test.  He now lives in Washington, NC with his wife and my mom, Liz.  He truly believes God finished his work on the outer banks, proving it to be his best work.  Drop my Dad a line if you have any questions.  email:  keith@noreastercharters.com  Phone:  252-947-2287
